Job Responsibilities

As a District Manager, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of the multiple Store Managers. Full profit and loss responsibility for your area. Perform duties such as budgeting, personnel work and auditing. You will hire, train, motivate, interpret, implement and communicate company policies and procedures. You will create and maintain a positive, safe, professional environment for staff and customers throughout your district and provide guidance and advice to management staff.  

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Provide staff with assistance in performing difficult or complicated duties.
  • Hire, train, and evaluate personnel.
  • Attend company meetings to exchange information and coordinate work activities with other District Manager.
  • Confer with company officials to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, promote business and effectively deal with defaults.
  • Monitor sales staff performance to ensure that goals are met.
  • Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding services, or personnel.
  • Prepare sales and goal reports for management and budget departments.
  • Coordinate sales, promotion activities, such as customer appreciation days, contests, etc.
  • Analyze details of district to assess growth potential and to set goals.
  • Visit locations and sales representatives to promote products and gather information.
  • Auditing locations to ensure compliance with state and federal laws as well as company policies.

Job Requirements

As a District Manager, you must have strong complex problem solving skills that you will use to make decisions and lead your team to achieve growth, revenue and staffing goals of the assigned financial centers. 

Additional requirements of the District Manager role include:

  • Bachelor Degree with Minimum of 6 years of experience leading and managing multiple locations in the retail, grocery, convenience store, financial or service industry
  • Experience with direct cash handling, vault or safe operations
  • Proven track record in building and developing a winning team
  • Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
